As a new mom, I have such a deeper love and understanding for lifestyle photography. Life takes off at such an unwieldily (sometimes unfair) pace, so to freeze-frame these sweet, short, precious moments in time?  There’s seriously nothing more beautiful.

As someone who really appreciates design and style, shooting for builders and interior designers is another focused niche for FREEBIRD. Whether it’s a residential or commercial space, shooting interiors allows me to flex my creative muscles in a different way.

And lastly, weddings.

I get to work with clients when they’re looking and feeling their best, and all while with their favorite people-- Does it get sweeter than that?

My goal in working with couples is to capture those seen (and unseen) moments that take place on your wedding day. It’s the attention to detail during your formal portraits; where mom or dad places their hands, how your dress falls, etc. and then it’s also those candid, in-between moments that speak volumes and can’t be replicated. It’s your father-in-law secretly wiping away a tear at your ceremony or your mom crying on the sidelines of your father-daughter dance.

It’s the small details and the bigs ones. I really do care about it all.
